What to Expect: FAQ

What types of health insurance do you accept?

Most insurance plans cover chiropractic services, but the amount of coverage and the deductible may vary from one insurance provider to another.  We will be glad to work with you in contacting your insurance provider to determine your coverage.

What is your new patient procedure?

YOUR FIRST VISIT: Patients fill out forms that provide background information about their symptoms and condition. First visits often last about an hour, and includes the following:

  • Patient Education: To acquaint you with our office and explain how we help our patients regain their health, most patients see a short 9-minute video.

  • Consultation:  You'll meet the doctor who will review your health history and determine if yours is a chiropractic case. The doctor takes the time to understand the root of your problem in order to provide the best and most effective treatment. Through his years of experience, Dr Whitbeck has found that Treatment AND Therapy is a crucial part of the recovery process. He listens to your story and takes a detailed history.

  • Examination: Standard physical, orthopedic, neurological, and chiropractic tests will be performed to determine the cause(s) of your problem.

  • X-Ray Exam: Necessary views may be taken to visualize the location of any spinal problems, reveal any pathologies, and make your chiropractic care more precise.

  • Adjunctive Procedures:The doctor may suggest the application of ice, heat, or the use of some other procedure to help reduce inflammation and make you more comfortable.
